Monthly close

Month-end close

The monthly close is the routine that makes a month’s figures final: every department enters and approves its fact, the checks pass and the month is locked.

Formula

Close = all departments approved + checks passed

Example

12 departments approved, 0 blocking checks: the month can be closed. (invented numbers)

In IBO

In IBO a month moves Planning → Fact entry → Closed; reopening needs a reason and is logged.
