Retention rate
Player retention rate
Retention rate is the share of players from a starting group who are still active after a given time.
Formula
Retention = still active ÷ starting group × 100
Example
300 FTD in January, 120 of them still active in April: three-month retention is 40.0%. (invented numbers)
In IBO
The Cohorts analysis draws retention as a heat map by first-deposit month.
